I am located in Atlanta but the car that I am considering buying is in Florida. There is no place to input the location of the car for inspection and the inspector listed on the order is in Atlanta. How do you select a different area or will that be automatically done by you?
Hello, Nathaniel Bronner! Unfortunately, we work only in the Atlanta metro area.

I had just scheduled an appointment for Monday at 3:30 to have a vehicle inspected I was just trying to find out if you guys accept credit cards as payments? Will you also be providing a printout of what was inspected and your findings
Hello, Abraham Brown! Thank you for your order. Yes, we accept credit cards. You have ordered an inspection with client. In this case, the inspector can tell you everything right after inspection but the full written report will be available online in your account a few hours later.

Are you able to provide a market value assessment on the cars you inspect?
Hello, CJ Buot! After inspection, we can tell you if the selling price is fair or not and give you an estimated price.

I looked at the sample report and it didn't include anything about checking the undercarriage beyond the structural and drivetrain. I am concerned about a rear end collision that the CarFax reports no damage. There is an aftermarket tow hitch installed and I want to be sure that the rear portion of the undercarriage can be inspected thoroughly (I don't know if the tow hitch assembly could be covering up any damage - didn't think to inspect there as I did not know about the rear end accident until after leaving the van)
Hello, Kamuela Haasenritter! The big part of our report is dedicated to car body condition. It includes major and minor body damage report. We thoroughly inspect the car body and car body structure
(longerons, pillars, rocker panels, frame) for signs of impacts. We check coating thickness to tell if any part was repainted or repaired. And you can be assured that if the car was in accident you'll get all the information about damage and repair quality.

We are starting to look for a used sedan for my son in law. We will need someone with mechanical knowledge to support us. Seems like this a good fit. Can we do some kind of preregistration so if we find a car we are interested in we can just contact and get the inspection going?
Hello, Joe Sulliavn! Unfortunately we don't have any preregistration but you can easily place an order online or through the phone - usually, we can get to the inspected car in 1-2 hours.

Considering buying 2012 Hyundai Elantra GLS 89000 miles, for 6500. What is your thought on model & does your testing do a compression test.?
Hello, Diane! It's a decent car and the price seems to be fair if the car condition is good. But in general, it's better to buy Korean cars with lower mileage - 100,000ml is a serious thing for them. We don't do compression test because it's very time consuming (especially in case of V6 and V8 engine) but it doesn't compromise the quality of inspection - there are many other ways to tell if the engine has low or uneven compression among cylinders.

Hi I found another HHR LS 2007 139, 000 miles $2K but but engine light comes on which prevents from passing emission. What does engine light mean for these cars, what needs fix, and does it cost much?
Hello, Alan M McNeil! It depends on the error code. Some codes could be trigged by the evaporative system (or even loose fuel tank cap) and easy to fix, some codes are caused by the bad catalytic converter which costs a small fortune to repair. You need to read the codes first.

What about a 2008 Chevy HHR? Is $1000 for a 2008 HHR with 215K miles?
Hello, Alan M McNeil! Nowadays it's very hard to find a running car for $1000. So if it runs, if the head gasket isn't blown and transmission shifts well you may try. Of course, don't expect this car to be reliable but for $1000 it can be a good deal.
