I’m looking to purchase a Lexus GX 470 between 2003-2008 I’m finding most being sold are over 200,000 miles. Are these cars typically reliable drivetrain wise engine transmission?
Hello, Marlon! These are very reliable cars and after 200,000 miles engine and transmission can show no signs of wear at all. But on the other hand, because of great reliability, many owners think that they don't have to maintain and fix those cars and that is why very often many Toyotas and Lexuses have engine oil leaks, damaged steering racks and worn-out suspension. It's not critical - you will not be stranded because of that, but it can be expensive to fix.

There is a beetle in Powder Springs I'm looking at purchasing. It has a rebuilt title and I'm nervous. Can you guys inspect? Also, I looked at sample report and no mention of tread depth. Is that not checked?
Hello, Shawn Kries! Yes, we can check the car with a rebuilt title to make sure that it's still reliable and safe to drive. We don't measure tread depth - we focus on important things - but we warn you if the tires are worn out or have uneven wear pattern.

Do your inspections include putting the vehicle on a lift and inspecting the undercarriage?
Hello, Brett! It depends on the seller. If the seller has the facility to lift the vehicle (for example, if the seller is an auto dealer with a shop) then our specialist would inspect it on the lift. In most cases however, there is a necessity for a lift only if the test drive revealed issues with the drivetrain or suspension. Otherwise, inspection without a lift won't compromise the quality of the inspection itself.
