Considering a 2018 Ford F150 XLT with a 5.0L V8 and 10 speed transmission. It’s got 149k miles on it. The CARFAX and auto check show no accidents, 2 owners, and regular maintenance (minus a few oil changes 10k-12k apart). Think I could get another 5+ years out of it?
Hello, Wade! 10-speed transmission is the weakest point, and there is a high chance of upcoming failure after 150k miles. We would recommend looking at older F150s with 6-speed transmissions - they will last way longer.
