Reviews
"I asked for a review of a 2006 MBZ. From the Carfax report, the car looked to be well maintained and seemed to be in good condition. The Car Advisor's review confirmed that with some exceptions that I would expect of a 2006 car. What Car Advisors did find, which was not reported by Carfax or the dealer were several parts of the car were repainted. This was the result of crash damage. I didn't buy the car. Thank you Car Advisors!"

Paul
"Oleg was amazing. I was able to book him and have my inspection done the same day. The report was thorough and very helpful...outlining things I normally would not have considered, but were definitely important to know. I've recommended him to others via the NextDoor app and am currently using him to inspect another used car. "

Aarati
"I was totally impressed with the prompt & meticulous service of Car Advisors. The technician was professional, organized, and thorough in his assessment. The thing that set this experience apart was the objectivity of the review - it removes any emotion in the car buying process and focuses you on the facts. I’ve been raving to my friends about this service and the best testament to its effectiveness is - the seller wanted to get the phone number for his next purchase! This wasn’t the car for me, but rest assured, before I do make a car buying decision in the future - I will be calling Car Advisors !"

Derek

Jeffrey
"I was looking at a late model Sentra with a clean Carfax. I decided to get it checked out by CarAdvisors and I am glad I did. Their report indicated that the car had been involved in a rear impact collision and the repair was not done correctly. I would have been stuck. It is money well spent for peace of mind."

Mark
"i loved the inspector and the process! very KNOWLEDGEABLE and quick! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO FUTURE CAR BUYERS "

Jackie
"Couldn't have been more pleased with this company! I was looking to purchase a car in the Atlanta area and, since I was several hours away and purchasing an expensive used BMW ,I wanted an expert to look at it. Doing some research online,I came across caradvisors who were highly recommended. Well everyone was right, the whole process was so seamless...from booking the inspection on their website to them scheduling an appointment with the seller and submitting a very thorough report, I knew exactly what I was getting and all of that within a day! The seller was skeptical about the issues found in the report and decided to take the car to the BMW dealership who confirmed exactly what was found in the report. The seller was able to have these issues taken care of, saving me hundreds of $$$ and now this baby is mine!. 5/5 stars!"

Gabriel
"I've have never experienced such a thorough inspection. I wish I knew about Car Advisors instead of the place I had taken my vehicle. We will be using them again as we continue our search!"

Shunnita
"There is nothing better than being given peace of mind when you do not have much car knowledge. A detailed report with descriptions and analysis on major parts of a car and additional photos of problem areas is exactly what someone like me will want to see before making a decision. Oleg met the dealer while I was not able to attend and inspected it at the dealership, what more can you ask for?! So appreciative of this report as I reconsider my decision on a purchase."

Jhiles
"excellent turn around time. Prompt response to my inquiry and detailed report after the inspection. Highly recommended"

Jodi
"Inspection was timely and very thorough! It kept us from purchasing a car that had some hidden issues. Definitely recommend and will use again!"

Wendy
"The inspector came out within a couple hours of us booking the inspection online. Before he came out, he called to let us know the limitations of a Tesla inspection (the Tesla diagnostic computer is proprietary so they can only go by what is shown on the service mode screen as far as error codes and faults). He arrived promptly as promised and did a very thorough inspection, including removing parts as needed to expose the mechanicals of the vehicle. Following the inspection, he explained his findings. He emailed his written report later that day, but we had already decided to go ahead and purchase the vehicle based on his verbal report after the inspection. The inspector was friendly and professional. Definitely would recommend for any pre-purchase auto inspections that you need."

FAQ
?
How qualified are your mechanics?
We are a small team of specialists with master’s degrees, a deep knowledge of car electronics, and many years experience in auto inspection. We don’t hire unknown mechanics from all over the country just to expand our presence in other states.
?
What type of vehicles do you inspect?
We inspect all cars and trucks of any age and price. If a vehicle is a hybrid or is electric, we thoroughly inspect the battery and generator with a professional scan tool to make sure that these expensive parts are in working condition.
?
Can you perform a computer diagnostic for an older vehicle with a non-standard diagnostic connector(not OBD2)?
Yes, we have special connectors for a wide variety of older vehicles. So even if it doesn't have a carburetor we can perform a computer diagnostic.
?
What types of payments do you accept?
You may pay with card (debit or credit), from your account, or by cash or check after the inspection if you decide to see it in person.
?
Can I cancel an inspection that has already been ordered and scheduled?
Yes, you can cancel an inspection at any time without charge. However, it's preferred that you provide at least 1 hour before the scheduled inspection time.
?
Do you inspect vehicles on a lift?
It depends on the seller. If the seller has the facility to lift the vehicle (for example, if the seller is an auto dealer with a shop) then our specialist would inspect it on the lift. In most cases however, there is a necessity for a lift only if the test drive revealed issues with the drivetrain or suspension, and to determine the source of the problem and if it's ok to lift the car. Otherwise, inspection without a lift won't compromise the quality of the inspection itself.
