Pre-purchase used car inspection

It’s hard to overestimate the importance of a pre-purchase inspection. The risk of buying the wrong car is not just unexpected expensive repairs but compromised safety as well. Non-functional SRS airbag systems, loose bolts in suspension components, rotten frames, and leaking exhaust systems – that’s just a glimpse of what we see every day. To be confident in your next car, order our best-in-class pre-purchase inspection.

Now in Dallas, Texas!

Reviews
"Oleg showed up to the appointment on time and was very professional. Plan on using him for another inspection as his report was very thorough and easy to comprehend. "

ANTHONY
"Highly recommend Oleg! He gave us a thorough evaluation of the vehicle we were looking to purchase!"

Michael
"I highly recommend Oleg with Car Advisors! I was looking to purchase a vehicle outside of Atlanta, which would have been an 8hr drive. I found C.A from a quick google search and contacted them. I've never hired an out of state inspector before so I didn't know what to expect. Oleg's report on my potential purchase was extremely thorough and professional. His report was way beyond the scope of what I expected with additional photos/sidenotes attached. After the report, I decided to not make that trip. His service is worth every dollar!!! If you are unable to travel or just aren't knowledgeable enough about doing your own inspection or if your looking for someone you can trust, please contact Oleg! Thank you!"

joseph
"Johnny was amazing, very thorough and professional. Highly recommend!"

Jared
"Service was convenient and great. Gave me more confidence about the purchase and gave me an idea of what repairs I’ll have to make right away. Definitely recommend to anyone purchasing a used car. "

Gregorio
"Great service, would recommend to anyone! Oleg was professional, explained everything in detail. He was there right on time, although the location was far from center Atlanta. I ended up buying the car and am very happy with my purchase. Thanks Oleg!"

Tim Caglar
"Oleg did a pre-purchase inspection on a used car for me. He is very thorough and went over everything with me. He gives you a detailed written report as well. Thank you for helping us!"

Amber
"Oleg, thank you once again. The Grand Cherokee needed some maintenance taken care of but the dealership would not address or budge on the price so we had to walk away. I cannot see paying a price for a vehicle when maintenance items have not been addressed. Awesome report!"

Robert
"Oleg did an amazing job! He is very skillful."

Karen
"Very informative and good to know ahead of time"

Jack
"On-time, thorough, and comprehensive inspection. Really gave me peace of mind - well worth it!"

David
"They actually did a nice inspection and found multiple flaws that I missed. It was worth taking the ppi with caradvisors"

Venkata
"I could not be happier with Oleg's service! It was so easy to schedule an inspection of a car that was farther away than I wanted to go (when I wasn't sure it was worth it), and the report was so detailed. He was patient with my questions. The only tip is to confirm his availability via phone in case the website isn't up to date (he responded extremely quickly). Plan to use again!"

Rebecca
"Absolutely the best and most thorough inspection and comprehensive report I’ve ever received from any inspection service used previously. Highly recommend this service . THANK YOU"

Customer
"I was very impressed with the inspection by CarAdvisors. It saved me a lot of time and money."

Duane G
"I am so happy that I decided to get Oleg to examine the car for me. Clark Howard was right when he said that every used car should be inspected before you buy. He was on time and did a thorough job in his review and subsequent discussions with me regarding the issues. I was able to have all the issues addressed prior to purchase. This is a very valuable service. "

Jacqueline
"I was looking to purchase a 2016 Honda Civic from a local dealership and decided to get a pre-purchase inspection done first. I chose CarAdvisors and I'm glad I did. They found multiple issues which would've cost thousands for me to repair. I passed on the car and CarAdvisors got a loyal customer!"

Ryan
"Amazing service! Oleg was prompt and very efficient. He reviewed everything from under the hood to under the car inside the vehicle the paint job etc. The concerns he came up with were the timing chain was about to go out and the vehicle had an oil leak and the shocks were bad. I’m happy he saved me so much money on repairs."

Charletta
"He did a great job. Went above and beyond and did the most you can do without having the car on a lift. Report is helpful."

nicholas
"Eduard did an excellent job and found several issues that would've otherwise gone unnoticed; very good attention to detail!"

FAQ
?
How qualified are your mechanics?
We are a small team of specialists with master’s degrees, a deep knowledge of car electronics, and many years experience in auto inspection. We don’t hire unknown mechanics from all over the country just to expand our presence in other states.
?
What type of vehicles do you inspect?
We inspect all cars and trucks of any age and price. If a vehicle is a hybrid or is electric, we thoroughly inspect the battery and generator with a professional scan tool to make sure that these expensive parts are in working condition.
?
Can you perform a computer diagnostic for an older vehicle with a non-standard diagnostic connector(not OBD2)?
Yes, we have special connectors for a wide variety of older vehicles. So even if it doesn't have a carburetor we can perform a computer diagnostic.
?
What types of payments do you accept?
You may pay with card (debit or credit), from your account, or by cash or check after the inspection if you decide to see it in person.
?
Can I cancel an inspection that has already been ordered and scheduled?
Yes, you can cancel an inspection at any time without charge. However, it's preferred that you provide at least 1 hour before the scheduled inspection time.
?
Do you inspect vehicles on a lift?
It depends on the seller. If the seller has the facility to lift the vehicle (for example, if the seller is an auto dealer with a shop) then our specialist would inspect it on the lift. In most cases however, there is a necessity for a lift only if the test drive revealed issues with the drivetrain or suspension, and to determine the source of the problem and if it's ok to lift the car. Otherwise, inspection without a lift won't compromise the quality of the inspection itself.
